5.0 out of 5 stars Nephew LOVES IT!
I bought this for my nephew (11), and although I haven't used it - he loves it! He told me it is the best gift he'd ever received. I understand it's fairly accurate. Great gift, reasonably priced. Great packing, quick shipping.

3.0 out of 5 stars No extra mag - good quality and powerful but not that accurate - grip is very thin
I have bought this one to practice grip and target shooting.
This is what I do with the Crosman P36, which is very cheap as it comes within a shotgun package. Because I expect the Crosman P36 I use will fail at one point, I am looking for a replacement. I thought this S&W would be it, but it is not.

The overall quality of the plastic and mechanism...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Gun, October 25, 2007
This is the best pistol my son has ever had. But he recommends sticking with the .12g BB's for this. The .20g don't shoot as well. This is a good combat pistol. But for a real firefight use the S&W M3000...

5.0 out of 5 stars amazing!, June 8, 2008
this is an amazing gun. It is fairly light not to small and fast and accurate. It shoots about 300 FPS and from at least 20 yards away I can hit the bulls eye of the target it came with. You can use it as a back up weapon or a primary as long as you have extra clips. I bought this gun and an extra 2 clips from S&M so I have 4 clips with 12 rounds each. Thats pretty good for a big battle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Airsoft Pistol, December 29, 2008

I bought this to practice grip, stance, and sight picture without having to always drive to a range and expend live ammo. The accuracy is good with standard airsoft BBs, but is horrible with the biodegradable type. It is solidly built and functions well.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Works!, December 21, 2008
This review is from: Soft Air Smith & Wesson 4505 Spring Powered Airsoft Pistol with Target (Sports)
Bot 2 SigSauer P226 yesterday for my two kids - both useless junk.

Read the M4505 reviews and got the last one at Sports Chalet, $29, and it includes the extra Mag, target, etc.

Worked perfect out of the package!
Seems solid.

My hearty thanks to earlier reviewers for their good advices (these reviews should be tagged adult vs child as my kids always see the pony, even when looking at the pile of dung).

5.0 out of 5 stars -Great Airsoft Gun!-, November 19, 2009

Hey everybody, I received this gun used three years ago. All through its life it had worked perfectly and has made for a lot of fun. This is a perfect gun for a kid learning to airsoft, or a great side-arm for battles. I continue to use this today as an accurate, easy to use targeting gun. I liked this so much I bought the package shown above for a friend.

Pros:
Accurate under my standards
lightweight
easy to disassemble
unrealistic- clear (good for kids)
Made of heavy-duty plastic
Shoots very hard!

Cons:
Cocking spring slipped out of place once (took only a few minutes to repair)
The pin connected to the trigger slipped aside (I fixed with pliers in a minute)
Only holds 12-13 rounds (but easy to reload)

Overall this is a great inexpensive gun, and will last many years!
Good luck shopping!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great All-around pistol, July 11, 2006
A Kid's Review
The S&W M4505 airsoft pistol is in my opinion an excellent product. It is accurate up to around 40 feet and can fire at up to 60 feet with .20 gram pellets. I am very satisfied with the professional look and feel of this pistol and would highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Pistol, February 2, 2006
I bought the kit that comes with a Sig P226 and this same target. The gun is really good for the money. It feels like it's well made and a weighted in the right places for balance. I had zero misfires in about 2000 rounds. The only gun that is better is their version of the Beretta M9.. Check out my other reviews.. especially the Classic Army M15 review.. write me greg_88888@yahoo.com

5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate and decent build quality., April 29, 2010

I just started pistol shooting a few weeks ago. I bought this bb gun not expecting much, just to practice my form, sight alignment, breath control etc. Though weighted (in the mag), it still isn't anything like the real thing. Still though, build quality is pretty good.

As for shooting, I was impressed with the tremendous accuracy. This gun provides great practice for aiming and sight-alignment. This is a solid gun at a great price.

P.S. This kind-of goes without saying, but don't expect to much out of the included target. It's pretty sweet, it's gel-like surface grips the bb's and they dribble down into the bottom pan for re-use. I just don't know much longer it's going to keep gripping for; but there are plenty of alternative's. I use a box with a sheet of newspaper taped over the opening. Even better when on that newspaper is a picture of Joe Biden...
