The device does what it is supposed to. The downside is that it's incredibly noisy, the batteries don't last and neither do the buffer pads provided. Replacement buffer pads (with shipping) are more expensive than the device itself, and without them it is useless. And from the packaging onwards, it looks as cheap as it is...

This item is not too bad. I believe it would be wonderful if it had an electric cord, but it is decent for the price. It does do well in filing the dead skin off, but if you have really bad feet (which my hubby does) it will lose juice fast. We have to put four new patteries in every time we do his feet. I am going to look for an electric one, but really, if your heel is just a little rough, this does work and would be a good investment for you.

I just love the foot care system. It is easy to hold and it does the job. I was afraid I couldn't find it after seeing it on TV, but thanks to Amazon I did find it. It is rather quiet and I can use with my pets near by.

I ordered this product and it worked reasonably well for the first three to four times I used it. Thereafter, the pads were worn and completely ineffectual. I suppose this product would work if you bought several refills with it but it still doesn't have much power and will only remove superficial layers of skin. If your feet are severely calloused and cracked, as mine are, don't expect this product to help.

I have really bad feet. My heels get really dry and cracked year round. I found this and thought I'd give it a try. I've always been a little lenient about as seen on tv products... It was a great purchase! In one use, it "sanded" away several layers of dry skin from my heel. Basically, it's a sander for your feet. However, the batteries don't last long, and after just a couple uses the pads are too worn down to use. Plus, it doesn't seem very secure and the packaging is very cheap. I am glad that I bought it, but plan on only a one or two time use unless you buy replacement pads (but for that price, just go and buy another one).

My wife purched the Soft n Smooth Foot Care System and is extreamly pleased with it. Her older model gave out and she thought she would never find a replacerment that would do everything she was used to. She was not only surprised to find it did the same but also surpassed her oilder, broken care system. Keep up the good work.

I was suspicious of the effectiveness of this "gadget," and when the box arrived I was certain it would be a dud: the packing is cheap and the device seems cheap too. However, when I used it I was amazed to find that the motor is strong and steady and the buffer pads are tough and effective. I got fantastic results with only a few minutes of use and gently touched up a few callouses on hands as well. The massage head is also worthwhile. Scrub off the heads with a plastic household utility brush and soap to prolong their effectiveness. I'm buying another for my daughter.

This is the best product I have ever found - and believe me, I've tried plenty! This is so easy to use and works instantly - and the results last! I also use on my elbows and even to exfoliate my legs - it is gentle, but thoroughly does the job. I rarely take time to review products, but had to share about this one. Totally worth the money!

I ordered 3 of these right off the bat! I had a couple of these years ago and could not find anything that came close. Then I stumbled upon this ad and was so excited that I found this product again. It REALLY WORKS!! It makes your feet so smooth. I have already recommended this to several co-workers.

I have had very expensive professional pedicures and this got the skin on my heels even smoother than they did! If you do get really dry, cracked heels, use this then put antibiotic cream on them each day for a few days (cracks can hold in bacteria,so just smoothing and putting lotion on won't help much until you heal your heels). After that, just use a minute or two every couple days before bed, put a little lotion on and let it seep in and your heels should stay in great shape.
