I perused FootSmart for shoes that were labelled as helpful/comfortable for those with planar fasciitis--found this model recommended and optimistically ordered. While wearing light-to-medium weight socks, I observed the shoes looked nice--not *super* nice, a little "non-durable", but acceptable for the price. The problem with the shoes is that when you walk, the heel does not "go" with your foot...there as almost an inch of up and down sliding. While the sliding was not painful on a short 10 step walk down a hallway--I knew that trekking 7+ blocks across campus or through a mall would create some real problems. I returned the shoes and have received credit; I rate the shopping experience positively: received order quickly, return process easy, credited in a timely manner and no hassle.

I bought these shoes for my mom, who is a 10 medium. She said that they were both too small and too narrow. I have the same pair in an 8 1/2 narrow and I love them. These shoes are super comfortable. Order 1/2 size larger for fit and width.

These shoes are very comfortable and easy to break-in. Actually there is no real need to break them in. They are lightweight and have fairly decent arch support.

After wearing around the house for a short time these shoes rubbed the back of my heel so bad that it resulted in a big blister. The fit was good, not too big or too small.
