I bought this several weeks ago and I'm still loving it. The Softies made four C.D.s, each of them seem to encompass love for various seasons: It's Love(summer), Softies(Autumn), Winter Pageant(Winter), Holiday in Rhode Island(Spring), at least this is the way I interpret it. But even still these gorgeous songs can be heard during all seasons. These songs seem to be about complications in love: Jen Sbragia's songs All in Good Time and Postal Blue seem to be about trying to find love but running into complications and misinterpreting love. They are sad yet familiar to a person who always gets mixed feelings from their secret crush. Snow Like This seems to be the only truly happy tune on the whole C.D. and it's very uplifting and soulful. I truly enjoy the lyrics on every song. The great thing about the Softies is that they sing from both the boy or girl point of view on almost every song. Thus, their songs can be enjoyed by everyone irregardless of gender. This C.D. is highly recommended. If you want to hear a few songs from this C.D. then google singfish click the first result then type 'Softies' in the search engine and they should have Count to Ten and Selfish as the results. Otherwise, buy this enchanting C.D. on the double.

rose melberg has the sweetest voice, a voice i've never tired of...this cd is breathtakingly beautiful in its gentleness.
