Customer Questions & Answers

Customer Reviews

They are much too small and really flimsy.
Kenneth A. Kaiser
These straps are the best thing I have found for keeping the front wheel of your bike stable while on a car rack.
L. Jones
These straps are to help hold our bikes on the carrier and are very easy to use.

1 was unglued from the start. THe ends are Glued on to the soft velcro by a 1/4 inch strip and i would not trust anything of value to hold. I thought they were sewn on, and they are cheaply cut and glued on. all will break with any real tension. Try to use it on my bike rack and one snapped the moment i put it though the plastic loop. waste of money

Items were defective. Sealed edge pulled out the first time opened. Returned for full refund but I would not recommend.

I bought these with the idea I could use them to keep my bike's front wheel from banging into my car. I got a whopping 2 miles down the road when I heard a bang on my trunk. The straps- both of them- had blown off. So, I put on the second pair and those lasted a whopping 5 miles before they disappeared somewhere on the road. I gave them two stars because I am sure some turtle or squirrel will be able to use them when they find them on the side of the road.

I purchased these intending to secure my front bike tire to the frame to prevent movement while used on my bike rack. The day after I received them I secured my wheel, and one of the straps broke on the cheaply made bracket. That was enough for me to send all of them back and get a refund. Not impressed by any means.

I wasn't even sure I would need these, or really even what they were for, but I ordered them along with my Allen Sports 102S trunk bike rack, mainly because they were cheap and everyone else ordered them, and another person recommended them to me. I am SOOO glad I got them - they are strips of fabric with velcro, and a little loop so that they fold over on themselves. They made the difference between using my new bike rack right away and not. There are two main uses I have for these - first is to hold the front tire of the bike in line, so that the handlebars don't turn and bump the front tire against your car and scratch it. I needed to put two of these together in order to make one long enough, but that's OK since you get four. I read the troubles other people have had with this problem - someone used their U-lock and it bent their tire's spokes.

I also used one to wrap the bike frame just where it rubs against the bike rack in one spot, to keep them from scratching each other. Since it folds back on itself I was able to wrap it once around the bike rack frame, and then wrap it again around both the bike frame and the rack, so that it not only cushions the contact point but holds itself in place.

Useful little things!

I bought these hoping for an alternative to bungee cords. The first time I used them one had come off within 5 minutes. I then used two to secure the tire on the way home, and one came off. The Velcro is not strong enough to handle the vibration on the back of a vehicle.

Nice, basic product. I was impressed by how long the velcro strips were. I'm able to easily fit them around my bicycle tire and bike frame to hold the tires in place when I am traveling. They seem to hold pretty good also. I put mine to the test multiple times when driving at speeds of 70 mph. I think the wraps are a little overpriced though. While durable, velcro and plastic don't cost that much.
