If you are having trouble reading discs recorded on your consumer DVD video recorder, DVD Camcorder, Sony Mavica digital camera, or any discs formatted by third party software, then ReadDVD! will help you access your files without any hassle. The software supports mounting and reading of recordable DVD, HD-DVD, Blu-ray, MO, CD and other optical media formatted in UDF v1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 2.6, including data discs, DVD video discs recorded in VR format and Sony Mavica camera discs. Unlike pressed DVD Movie discs that can be read by the Mac OS, popular recordable DVD disc types that can be erased and re-written, such DVD-RAM and DVD-RW discs, use the different VR format (video recording format) specification.
