This review is from: Software Security Technologies (Paperback)
This book is not for beginners.
Good on examples, and covers Java security libraries. As text, the review questions are reasonable too. (you may think this is trivial, but if you have to answer them, you may know how annoying it is when question are not clear, or worse not addressed in the text at all). I personally think, you should read general cryptography text before reading this text, because it covers cryptography in brief. And unless you're genius, cryptography is not the simple topic, and chances you will comprehend it from one chapter is minimal. Whatever the case, this text is not bad. |
