Not confident about software testing,
This review is from: Software Testing as a Service (Hardcover)
I am a newbie when it comes to software testing. Even though this book has good concepts in software testing but I found that you need to refer some additional books on software testing to makeup for the topics not covered in this book. Still it is a good read.

A Valuable Book.,

This review is from: Software Testing as a Service (Hardcover)
It is not necessary that the author has some great knowledge about a subject. What is required is the presentation of the subject in a language which can be easily digested by even novice readers. This fact makes the real difference between a great book and a not so great book. Most authors try to pour their tremendous knowledge in their books but forget about this simple fact and thus end up using difficult and hard to understand language in their books.
This book "Software Testing as a Service" is written in a very simple and easy to understand language. The reader will be able to digest each and every concept presented in the book easily. This is the single reason, this book is different from all other books available in the market. Truly a valuable book.

Software Testing as a Service
Superb!!! A must read book. This Software testing is a challenging field. This book provides a good foundation for softwre testing. Then it builds on to some advance topics in software testing and finally discuses topics related to how software testing can be viewed as a service. The book is really interesting and has deep insight for many areas related to software testing. Over the years our software development company was bugged down with software bugs and we were at a loss to minimize the impacts. This book gives us valuable ideas as how to remove software bugs and be more efficient and productive.

Testing SOA (service oriented architecture) applications,
This review is from: Software Testing as a Service (Hardcover)
Now a days a lot of software applications are being developed based on SOA architecture. Testing these applications is different compared to traditional non SOA applications. This book is a good reference for testing SOA applications. A must buy for people who are on to testing SOA applications.

Quality assurance and quality control issues,
By
This review is from: Software Testing as a Service (Hardcover)
Most of software projects are always burdened with the overhead of delivering a software product with desired quality. Software project teams take quality assurance and quality control as conflicting to their interest of delivering the project within agreed time. They feel if this quality burden is not on their shoulders they could deliver in time without problems.
This book shows that quality assurance is not a burden on the project team at all. It shows how a software product can be made with desired quality without additional effort and costs. The book is really excellent and is far ahead of books in its category. |
