About the Author

Larry Culpepper specializes in helping lumber mills optimize their existing dry kiln operations. With more than 23 years' experience in the forest products industry, he has worked as a Quality Supervisor for SPIB, a Lumber Drying Specialist for Wellons, Inc., and a Dry Kiln Specialist for Union Camp, where he was instrumental in developing the first computerized multi-zoned dry kilns. This book updates and expands on his previous book, High Temperature Drying. Culpepper has written numerous papers and articles on kiln drying for Wood Technology magazine and other publications.
