Founded by guitarist Martin Cradick and singer wife Su Hart, Baka Beyond play music inspired by the unique music of the Baka Pygmy hunter-gatherers, who live deep in the rainforest of Cameroon.

Their initial visit inspired the award-winning debut album, "Spirit of the Forest" in 1993 which led to the formation of the live band.
