"TAT is one of those bands that everyone should hear, see live and have in their cd collection. They are a three piece, female fronted punk/rock band from England. They have a little bit of everything in their music - punk, rock, metal, ska, soul, and lots of heart. Every song they have is creative and melodic.
Tatiana, the lead singer/lead guitar player is phenomenally talented, as are the rest of the band. They put on a live show that is simple, but very cool with lots of energy. I saw them open for Alice Cooper in Bismarck and for a relatively unknown band in the states, they definitely made their mark with Alice and on this year's Warped Tour. They are also very gracious individuals to their fans and new fans, signing autographs, taking pictures and actually taking time to talk to anyone after the show. They epitomize class.
If their music, their awesome attitude toward fans and their live shows do not make them huge stars in the states, I will be very surprised. Seriously, get this cd, you won't be disappointed."

This band, which I had never heard of until a week ago when I stumbled into their set on Warped Tour and they blew me away, is some of the most heartfelt, inspired, and energetic music of this decade.

I'd be cautious to call it punk rock because there will always be those people that are more concerned with genre classification than the quality of music, but it basically sounds like a chick fronted punk rock band. I often compared the sound to old Green Day mixed with the Distillers only with way more guitar hooks and solos.

The driving force behind this band is their frontman Tatiana. She sings splendidly, with a voice that sounds sweet but gets a little gritty around the edges making it more in your face. She also can sing extremely fast, reminding me of a female Jason from Authority Zero. On top of this she lays down all the guitar work, which is some of the catchiest I've heard to date. And of course, she writes the lyrics, which are some of the best and most heartfelt words I've heard in a long time.

Behind her stand Nick and Jake. Nick is a very accomplished bassist, although the bass was played a little too quiet during the mixing on most of the songs. Jake keeps pace and brings everything together into a coherant sound very well.

I recomend this CD to anyone and everyone. It has to be nearly impossible not to love this CD, and if you get the chance make sure to see them live. They are far above and beyond fantastic and they're also down to earth, humble, and energetic and happy musicians and they make sure it shows. The CD I got also had two bonus tracks, one that was an insanely poppy but fun song about drugs, and a ska song that closes out the album in a similar fasion to Time Again's "Streetwalker"

5/5 from a tough critic. These three may never be a huge success because they are not radio friendly enough like say Paramore, but I believe they have the spirit to give the music industry what it needs for a long time.

TAT's first studio Album, Soho Lights, is truly exceptional. As another reviewer stated; it has a bit of everything. Ska and classic/alt rock mostly, to be fair with some very obvious Punk influences. Nick Kent is very good bassist and Jake Reed excels on the drums. Tatiana DeMaria's voice is probably what stands out the most, however, as her vocal performances come off as very raw in that Punk rock sort of way. That makes tracks like "Sandra Dee" and "Stay Up" hit much harder and they are better for it. There's also a wonderful playfulness to the tracks "Live for Rock" and "Pessimist" which helps balance the album nicely. It's obvious that I love the band and this album, but to make this a fair review, I will say that TAT isn't a band for everyone. If you're one of those people that dislike Punk-influenced Alt rock, something that's a bit rough around the edges, this may not be the band for you. For everyone else, pick this album up. You will be eagerly awaiting their next one.

I first heard TAT while they were on the Vans Warped Tour and after they finished their set I went to their tent and got this album. On they way home I listened to the album and liked every song on the album, which rarely happends for me. TAT is an original band that puts a lot of energy in the album. I say if you are looking for something original and that you can play again and again that doesnt get old I would say get this album you will not regret it.

This is a decent pop-punk album. Some of the songs were better then others, but I'd recommend it if you want something light and catchy with a dash of angst.

This album is wrought with the kind of energy and attitude that i saw on stage a couple of years ago and it gets me going, seriously! And unusually for an album, i like nearly all the tracks! The lyrics and sharp and sassy, infused with really inspiring drumwork and the guitar and bass bring this trio together like a bunch of pros jamming against all the frustrations of the world! Beautifully sung and poetically written! I love this album.

this is one of the better punk rock albums i have bought of late, the album is pretty solid with several stand out tracks-road to paradise, sympathetic lies, pessimest, i don't wanna love u, diamond child, live for rock-all of which could b singles. the band has a greenday esque sound-albiet a tad less clean with a female singer, all the lyrics r pretty much anthems to teenage life. if tat keeps producing albums in the vein of this one they will probably be pretty big, good album, if u like neo-punk u should def give this album a listen.
