Beatles' Elavator Music,
By A Customer
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
This is just a very poor recording of Beatles' music. It is thin, "sing-songy", and just unimaginatively arranged and played. Pedestrian is the apt word. There are good instrumental recordings of Beatles' music available. This isn't one of them. It was a Christmas present I should have returned.

20 Beatles Greatest Hits,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Amazon, I know we're not to refer to other reviews, and I want to mention that. But first, I'd like to say that I loved this album. It was very relaxing and I was really happy when it came. Most of these Beatles tunes I know, but it doesn't matter whether you know them or not, this CD is well put together.Does anyone here read the guidelines? It says not to talk about other reviewers. It also states that "submissions that do not follow our review guidelines will not be posted". I think we should just talk about whether we liked the product or not, and why or why not (respectively), and though it's not bad to discuss the Bible, stay away from insulting each other's religion. It really drove me nuts to read things with nothing about the music at all besides the rating. Anyway, I liked the music.

I love the Beatles. I am so glad that they put alot of the hits on this one album, without the most infamous fifth wheel Yoko! A must buy!

I'd like to read a review please!,
By Wendy Jones Maney (West Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
I appreciate the reviews that ""focus your comments on the album's content". Would someone please do that! After all these years, I doubt any of us can be converted, saved, or ruined by the Beatles or the rash of personal opinion voiced here. The damage (if there was any) is done! The joy of listening to Norwegian Wood or In My Life, etc. etc., remains. I prefer joy to anger and frustration. It's a choice. Try it.

The Music is Great,
By A Customer
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Alright, leave these guys alone. They changed the world, period. They wrote great music alone and as the Beatles. If you don't like them, don't listen to them.

Beatles ment the breakthrough,
By A Customer
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
For people of that decade(1960)the Beatles ment the breaking with our parents generation and the establishment. They were the beginers of the trend, that's why they're important to new generations.

The world did not end when the Beatles did.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
It is true that there are four of them. But to give them an important place in the book of "Revelation" is a little much. Yes, their lives did not become the best of role models for teenagers or older fans. What about Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath who seemed to more openly express non-Christian views. The Beatles were only a small part of a great world of wild rock 'n rollers.

RE: Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse,
By A Customer
This review is from: Soho Strings - 20 Beatles Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Come on, get real! That's some Christian attitude you got there, buddy! The Beatles are human beings whom God created. God loves them the same as he loves everybody. Jesus says to love one another...non maim & kill one another. You'd better go back to your Bible. One thing that Jesus and the Beatles agree on is that the world needs Peace & Love. I hope you can find these two things before you end up serving Satan in your zeal.
