One of her two very best albums, September 12, 2001
This review is from: Sol Da Liberdade (Audio CD)
All of her albums her fun, but I'd rate this and "Feijao com Arroz" as the two best. Buy either one as a starter in Daniela Mercury. Make sure you have both if you're wanting her best stuff. Like "Feijao com Arroz," this album is fun, enjoyable, spirited Bahia pop all the way through.

INCREDIBLE MUSIC, August 4, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Sol Da Liberdade (Audio CD)
This is one of the best CDs I have bought so far, filled with hauting music that really gives energy to the spirit. Every song has perfect arrangements, reflecting the richness and beauty of Brazilian music. Best of all, Daniela Mercury's voice gives a sense of strength and happiness. If anyone would like a taste of real Brazilian music, purchase this awsome CD. She will also be in concert Sept. 15, 2000 in Washington, D.C. giving a powerful show.

Daniela is AMAZING!!, September 7, 2000
This review is from: Sol Da Liberdade (Audio CD)
Clever arrangements, exquisite vocal stylings, and lots of just excellently performed music makes this CD one of the best on the market --- Brazilian or otherwise! Daniela Mercury's unique character is displayed in the selections for this project; ranging from the sheer joy and celebration of "Itapua @no 2000" to the haunting mystique of "Sou Voce`" to the proud and conscious "Ile Perola Negra" and "Axe, Axe." This is a MUST for your collection --- no matter what kind of music you like!
