My husband and I are planning a trip to Spain soon, and I looked forward to learning a little about Spanish life. Unfortunately, this book is written by a British ex-pat who lives in a community that is largely inhabited by ex-pats and all her contacts seem to be Brits. The book is mostly an account of her attempts to land a husband, with many descriptions of nights clubbing and cruising bars. There was practically no information about Spain or things Spanish. It was a big disappointment.

Personal, heart-warming, occasionally provocative, always entertaining. And by the end you'll feel you know Keidi Keating like the best friend you never had.

What will she do for an encore?

This is a very engaging, very creative book. Ms. Keating excels as a writer and storyteller - the combination of which results in extraordinary work. It's a great read even if you're not a twenty-something female with any particular connections to the Costa del Sol. I'm not and I don't and I still really enjoyed this book, because good writing is good writing. Can't wait to read her next.

I got started with this book thinking that it was simply enjoyable beach reading. And, it was that.

But additionally, it has practical information for anyone relocating to the Costa del Sol, especially for anyone planning to start a business.

Enjoy reading and learn something about entrepreneurship at the same time!

A pretty good book if you are considering spending time in or moving to Spain!
