Contemplative, spiritually uplifting, profoundly calming,

Gorgeous ambient music. The CD begins with a visit to "Clare Island" and closes with "Moon Garden" ? bookends to over an hour of solace. At times, this listener found it haunting, but always contemplative, spiritually uplifting, profoundly calming. Great piece of work!

Cleveland Wehle's 'Solace' stills the inner dialog inviting the listener to embark on a journey of intimate places and calming spaces. From Clare Island to Moon Garden, Wehle weaves a daedal tapestry of sound and silence that nourishes mind, body, and soul--gently, warmly, softly. At the end of each voyage, I am renewed and enlightened to joyfully embrace all of my tomorrows.

We found this CD to be very relaxing. Each and every track is beautiful. Solace not only serves well as background music, but also as a delightful listening experience that invites you to a sonic, if somewhat melancholy, landscape. Find a quiet room and allow yourself time to unwind. By the way, this cd sounds great under a good pair of headphones!!
