I am a cosmetologist with 20 1/2 years experience who has been using Solano dryers since 1991. They are the best dryers, and give great controlled heat. I have only had to purchase 3 within the last 20 years, BELIEVE IT! They last on an average 7 years when taken care of properly and I am always pleased and satisfied with their dryers. I just purchased my 4th dryer, the Solano Platinum Hair Dryer on 4/12/2011 and I love love love it and so far so good. I have always purchased the fiberglass ones but this time I went for the platinum one. It has an awesome sleek design, 1875 watts and the control handles are easy to use. You do have to be careful not to touch the metal on the dryer because it does get hot and metal will heat up, but as long as you use your handle you will be fine. I also like that if I need to cool the hair fast I can push the blue cool button and it does it instantly. I also like the fact that it has a removable filter that I can clean too. If you are looking for QUALITY and STABILITY... try any Solano dryer! It is definitely worth every dollar spent. Solano is the best and I will never use any other dryer.
