Active solar systems for air heating are a straightforward yet effective way of using solar energy for space heating and tempering ventilation air. The way the information is explained is far from good, compared to other technical handbooks regarding manual methods of passive solar calculations.
Drawings out of contrast; formulas with variables you don't know where to find it's values; nomograms without any explantation how to use them; you spend more time fighting with this handbook, then producing correct calculations. An old CFP publication called "Solaire Actif et Passif " from Christian Cardonnel is a very good alternative.
