Solar Energy is God's message that we were created equal: we all get the same amount. The sun radiates 500 BTU's toward every square foot of this planet, every day, every hour on the part facing the sun. Half of that is dissipated in the atmosphere, but that's still plenty of heat. Solar water heating is a single application of free energy, and this book explains how to use it. To use it, we need a collector to gather the sun's energy and transform it to a useable form, in this case, water heating. It's all in the book: how to build it, where to place it, and how to make it work. At the time of this writing, California had laws requiring the use of solar energy. I collected the specifications and placed them in the book. Even though the laws have vanished, the prepared material will aid anyone's use of solar energy for water heating. It will happen again. Laws will be enacted to require the use of solar energy for all manner of heating as common sense again rules and the people universally collect the energy from the sun's rays. This book is the only one I know of that has this information all together.
