Great versatile gadget,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Solar Power GPS Vehicle Car Tracking-Tracker Device
Pros:
1. Great sensitivity. Now my GPS works indoors and anywhere inside the car. No need to stick it to the windshield. 2. Solar cell. I was out of battery during a train ride in Japan, and I just happened to be by a window on the sunny side. After 10-20 minutes of exposure to the sun it started to work again! 3. Data loger. Some GPS software does not record your track. The data log in this thing comes in pretty handy. You can review your trail on Google Earth after your trip. But make sure to set up the auto logging to suit your needs beforehand. 4. An indipendent GPS sensor liberates you from the high cost of non-standard maps for the dedicated GPS units. You'd be supprised how many places you cannot even get maps for your Garmins and Tom-Toms, even if you are willing to pay for it. But with this indipendent GPS senor and a Bluetoth endabled PDA, I can use any .jpg format map or aerial photo, with some work, of course, and Yes, a software called GPS Tuner. Cons: The switch lacks the feeling of lock-in position. Sometimes I found myself somewhere between Off and Nav.
