Product Description
This unit will charge four equivalent D C AA AAA sized batteries at any one time. It includes an adjustable stand to assist in positioning for the best angle toward the sun. Can also be used indoors when placed in direct sunlight through a south-facing window. Bright sunlight is not necessary for this unit to work properly, but it obviously works faster when available. Overcast days are fine but it increases the time necessary to recharge the batteries completely.

I use this unit to charge C-cell batteries (4 at a time)
It does charge them but.... I never know when they are done charging.
the unit does not come with a charge indicator.

Absolutely could not believe how easily this worked. Stuck it in the sunlight (even through the window) and it charged AAA, AA, C, and D cell rechargeables. Had to special order (through Amazon) the rechargeable Cs & Ds.
Only drawback is you can only charge four of one type at a time (no mixing of sizes). Includes a cord (see picture) for solar recharging certain equipment (like cell phones) but I don't have any way of testing that.

This was a gift for family living in a remote area in the Philippines. They don't have electricity in their home, but everybody there has a cell phone. This lets them charge the cell phones without paying to use somebody's generator. They've said it actually charges up the phones very quickly.

It works, but quality feels chincy.
The product works as advertised but the unit was a lot smaller and "lighter weight" than expected. Not bad, but for the money, I expected better quality/more durable.

Does What It Needs To Do ...
After reading reviews and researching, we went with this one with the intent of using in a family home which is in a remote rural location --- it works as described.

Looks great. The plug in charger is for very basic items. May Not work on a cell phone. Packaged well.

This is a toy that only charged my batteries to 25%. If you want a toy charger it's fine. If you want a real charger, put this money with some more and get a real charger. Read more

MAYBE jthis works if there is TONS of sun
