Great Concept - Not Quite Ready for Market,
By
This review is from: Solar Powered White LED Holiday Lights (Kitchen)
We bought several strings of these, thinking they would be the answer to our Christmas decorating challenges. They really are a great concept, and with the advancement of solar technology (and LED lights), the concept is finally affordable enough to broadly market.
Unfortunately, they don't work quite as well as hoped. Depending on how much direct sunlight you can get during the day in the location you are working with, you may get an hour a night, or up to several (maybe 6) hours a night of lighting. The lights are very small, so seem dim compared to normal plug in lights. The strings are also short compared to plug in lights, so you can only cover a small bush with one string. Hopefully, solar technology will continue to advance and this concept will become even more viable, but for now, if you order, maintain reasonable expectations.

These solar powered lights work great on my new garden arbor. I didn't want cords running across the patio so solar is the best option. They do have a bit of a blue cast, but they remind me of stars, quite pretty. We had three days of rain in a row during the first week we had them up. They weren't shining brightly during the nights following those rainy days, but they still looked nice! No matter the weather they are on all night and go off with the morning light. I have no complaints.

Solar LED Light String,
By
This review is from: Solar Powered LED Holiday String Lights, White
I'm happy with the solar string lights because they are solar however, when lit, the lights look blue rather than white which is fine if you are aware of this which I was not. Also, the lights are tiny. Now that I know the diff. between the looks of these and our electric lights I will purchase them again.

Not as bright as I had hoped.,

I am pleased with these lights overall. I had expected them to be a bit brighter, but with full sun during the day, they stay lit all night. I have placed them on my mailbox post so I get a light marking my driveway without having to use electricity.

nice solar icicle lights,

This review is from: Solar Powered White LED Holiday Lights (Kitchen)
We have these lights in the icicle style, from this brand. Got them last year on clearance at Target after Christmas and bought the last 3 boxes they had left. We are only using these this year because we can't afford an increase in our electric bill. They are great! Even with pretty low sunlight exposure they come on every night. I don't stay up to check how long though! Either way, I'm happy they're on for the several hours of nighttime that my kids and people driving by on their way home from work can see them. They are smaller and don't cast a 'glow' light regular, bigger bulbs do, but who cares? You're still creating beautiful sights for the holiday and saving the environment and your money at the same time!

I intalled the solar lights exactly as directed. They worked one time and I have never seen them light up since. I purchased a different kind and they work perfectly. I do not recommend this item.

These are great, but you have to change out the battery at least once every 30 days. Look good and easy to use for locations without access to electrical.

I used these as porch lights on my cabin. They installed fast and easy, and after several months they stay there original brightness until dawn and are completely maintenance free. Buying more for other buildings on the ranch. Best solar night lights I have found.

I have these strings of lights wrapped around cholla skeletons in my yard here in Arizona and it looks amazing. They work perfectly and are quite bright. I also ordered multi-colored ones to add to the skeleton at Christmas time. Should be really pretty. I love them.
