Product Description

Solar Panel Garden Spotlight This is a Solar Powered Garden Spotlight. It has an attached solar panel that charges its internal battery. The solar panel can be detached and placed up to 2 meteres away. It can be mounted with the included garden stake or with the included wall mount. The wall mount can be used in conjuction with the stake for custom installations. This unit uses 5 bright white LED lights with a large 7 by 4 inch reflector. With just 6 hours of Free Sunshine this flood light will give 7 hours of lighting. It can also be charged with a 4.5v 130mA ac/dc adaptor This unit can be switched from off to either on or auto-on. In auto on mode it will automatically turn on at night. What you get: The light unit itself is 3 x 5 x 9 inches. Fully articulating mounting hardware. Mounting stake Attached or removable solar panel wich measures 3.5 x 9 inches Mounting instructions

This is a great little item...except for one thing. The location of the light sensor. We relocated the solar panel away from the unit, since it is detachable, and installed it on a shady area. However, the lights on the LED panel (on AUTO mode) remained on despite of the sunlight hitting the solar panel. It seems the light sensor is part of the LED panel of the unit; therefore, the light was on all the time. I have several solar panels and this is the only one that does not have the light sensor on the solar panel itself. This issue makes it useless for a shady spot, since it does not register sunlight on the solar panel. Otherwise this product would have worked great.

this light was pretty easy to install. unlike alot of solar light products this one holds a charge really well. it usually stays lit for four to six hours after dark. however the light isnt super bright. it is great for lighting a small area but wouldnt make a great security/utility light-it just isnt bright enough.

This is a very poor light source. I found it to be so dim it is useless for any but the closest application. It lights about one foot, only inches from the bulbs. Great folks to do business with, though. Choose another product from their store and you will probably be happier.
