I did a lot of research online since I found out I had HPV (human papilloma virus). So many women have it, but dont know it till they get a bad pap smear and the beginnings of cervical cancer. Red Marine Algae is good for virus type things. I was on a hunt for the best price/best quality and I didn't find it here. So far Swanson's is the best quality/best price. Swanson has a relationship with the Japanese and I think they have an "in" for better products from there.

I purchased this product after reading that red marine algae can help to "cure" coldsores. I began taking it in early November and finished the bottle sometime in December. I haven't had a coldsore yet and that is saying something as with the cold months I usually get one every month. I would recommmend this product.

I drew the short straw with cold sores when I started getting them a year ago. The sores break out every month or two and spread across my mouth. I'm planning on seeing a dermatologist, but my regular doctor recommended this supplement and it really works. My lips still swell, but no sores break out. It's the best treatment I've tried so far.

I have been taking the red marine algae for 1 month daily per instructions, there is no improvement or relief from the herpes virus breakouts. The shipping cost was much as the product with NO results, don't waste your money!
