This is an outstanding product for teaching elementary/middle school U.S. history students in an entertaining way. The caption for each picture provides accurate information about the U.S. Civil War while the students color the page in the appropriate North/South colors. Of course, for a more creative approach, the students could use the pages as patterns for sketching their own scenes of the time period.
