This review is from: A Soldier's Heart (Silhouette Intimate Moments, No 602) (Paperback)
This is an extraordinarily sensitive and warm portrait of a Vietnam-era nurse who hasn't come to terms with what she witnessed "in country," and the ex-patient who saves her from her demons, and wins her love. Great characters, wonderful insights, and -- unfortunately -- tremendous relevance thanks to the tens of thousands of young people who are coming home wounded, inside and out, from Iraq. The "soldier's heart" referred to in the title is what we would, today, call PTSD. This is a book about personal heroism, and a deeply satisfying love story.
