Overall, it is a great deal of money to spend on something that only cools an average sized bedroom for 4 hours tops. After that point, the heat generated by the unit overcomes the cool air it is generating and you can feel the room begin to heat up again. I would say if you have no other option as far as a window unit or a ductless central A/C system, which will set you back about $3,000, it is at least a small oasis in the summer heat for a few hours. In retrospect, I should have just sucked it up, worked an extra job for a month and paid to have central A/C installed. This is one time where the quality is more important then the price of the item.
