this is a good product, however, it is listed as kosher by Amazon. It is not listed as kosher or vegetarian by the solgar website. I have a child that is allergic to red meat and gelatin is made from pork and beef!!! So I would love it if Amazon could fix this error, thanks. Fish oils are difficult to find with vegetable gelatin capsules, so beware if you are like me and by kosher to get vegetable caps you still have to check the website for the brand name. When will Amazon start putting an ingredient list for the vitamins??

I love everything about this vitamin it provides nutrient and benefits over whole health. But I've one problem this bottle has 1 month serving and they only say 120 caps and doesn't mention 4 caps per day (taking 2 caps per day is usually the case by this type of vitamins) so be aware this has only one month of supply!

Nothing to criticize about this product. Sometimes I get the fishy burps but nothing compared to some of the other fish oils I've tried in the market. You can't go wrong with this product.

With two softgels, using molecularly distilled yet not concentrated anchovy/mackerel/sardine oils, you get:

With two, 1,000mg size softgel, providing:
Total Omega-3 600 mg which consists of
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 320mg
DHA(docosahexaenoic acid) 200mg

With two, 1,200mg softgels of their Solgar Wild Alaskan Full Spectrum Omega Supplement, 120 Count, which is not molecularly distilled (different process), you get:

Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 200 IU
Total Omega 3 Fatty Acids 500mg providing:
EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid 202 mg
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid 180 mg
DPA (docosapentaenoic acid) 41 mg
Other Omega 3 Fatty Acids 77 mg
Total Omega 5 Fatty Acids 1.9 mg
Total Omega 6 Fatty Acids 48 mg
Total Omega 7 Fatty Acids 192 mg
Total Omega 9 Fatty Acids 384 mg
Astaxanthin 20mcg

So, you can see that the total omega-3s and the amount of EPA and DHA in each two-softgel serving of the anchovy/mackerel/sardine product is slightly higher than the wild salmon oil, even though the size of the softgels is smaller. Yet with the salmon oil, you are getting the full natural complement of all the omegas, including the important 7 and 9. And both products are the natural triglyceride form, closest to actually eating fish.

I can see using both of these oils together to get the higher omega-3 of the anchovy/sardine and yet the full-spectrum of the salmon oil. Two of each would give you 1,100mg of omega-3 a day, which is perfect for most people. I took one star off because, as a natural product, they are a bit stinky, IMHO.
