I love the scarf I ordered. Wonderful color and quality. The box it came with is extraordinary. All in all I'd recommend this seller based on my experience as 100%

I don't know. You tell me heavy wool, I'm looking for heavy wool, at least along the lines of the great wool of the 5646 Ragg Wool Watch Cap. This runs rather thinly.

And you know, you tell me heavy wool, I expect a good strong healthy smell of wool. Takes me back, among the sheep, and lambs, and I love it.

So I sniff this and get nothing . . .

Call this heavy? Call this wool?

seems a bit on the thin side to me.

maybe try 100% Wool Men's Winter Plaid Tassels Ends Long Scarf-Various Colors; I don't know.

but this is thin.

This scarf is just right. Looks good and keeps the wind off the neck. I usually walk a few blocks at least once a week and this will be nice to have this Winter.

I LOVE this scarf! It has taken me the longest time to find a good, warm wool scarf, but I have finally found one and I highly recommend it!

I have a friend who is homeless and wears a fleece scarf. While I like fleece and do find it warm, I really do not think it suits her needs as much as a wool scarf would (since there are so many variations of fleece material and so many variations of warmth). For me, I think wool is best at keeping a person warmer almost more than any other fabric. I hope it will keep her warmer and I hope she likes it as much as I do!

I bought one of these scarves for myself and a black one for my husband. He loves it, no complaints. I really like the look of the camel and it is in fact quite warm, but it feels a little itchy to me. I'm not sure if that's just because I'm super-sensitive about things touching my neck or not. The scarf isn't irritating in that it's leaving rashes or anything like that, so I'm working through it to see if it will feel better after I'm used to wearing something that actually comes into contact with my skin.
