I don't know anything about cheerleading and pom poms, but they seem great to me! They are well-made and fluffy with a lot of "steamers." The handle is thick and easy to hold. I bought them for my 4 and 2 year old daughters and they enjoy playing with them. I personally think they are beautiful pom poms.

these pom poms are great! not like those little ones that are limp, these are way more full! I was very pleased with these pom poms! I felt like a sexy cheerleader in my costume with these!

I am a teacher in an elementary school starting our very first cheerleading squad. These pom poms were perfect for my 9-11 year old girls. They were large enough and worked great. I lost a few shreads of plastic strings occasionally however. Eventually the shedding stopped. They work just fine.
