Wow, when this was first released, the entire package was a mere $30, now it's in the areas of $100. Bit surprising, considering that most of Stapleton's releases are quite on the limited side.Well, the packaging is quite nice, doesn't have any of the 'statue' artwork from the second edition, with the exception of a little insert, but it's not as prominent as it was beforehand. The extra CD is neat; has some interesting innovations upon the older material...not really sure if it's worth an extra $70, but, that's up to you. And the music; the music is, still, just as amazing as it was in the 80's. That's the basis behind all of Stapleton's works: very few have ever grown stagnant, even over the time of twenty some-odd years. Some would call it 'dark-ambient', no matter how mentally stunted the term may sound, but it isn't 'warm' dark-ambient, it has a very menacing feel about it. Not quite Lustmørd, but still in that area. I wouldn't advise it for the curious, but for collectors with obsessive compulsive disorder: of course.

Chilling dream-ambience. One of the top ten CD's to put on right before you fall asleep.

This album is great for sleeping,or long drives.droning noise, but still musical almost primal.kind of like lou reeds metal machine music if it was good and listenable.perfect for use with brion gysons dream machine.very relaxing not abrasive at all.i've heard it a hundred times and still hear new parts every time i listen to it.

Do you get a kick out of Metal Machine Music? Already like Nurse With Wound? Then this might be a good album for you. Otherwise, you're warned, it might not be to your liking.
