I love solitaire but it is usually a dull game even on the computer. This version has cute little ants that pop up every now and then to provide a little amusement to the drab game. When you win the ants all come out and celebrate with you. It's a cute version of 50 tried and true solitaire games. This is the first game cd that I have bought that hasn't crashed the computer or needed 'patches' to make it run right. It has great options, taking into account this IS solitaire, and help features. It is easy to navigate and to load. I would recommend this for kids as well as adults.

I bought this software for my 85+ yr old Grandfather who loves solitare but is fairly new to computers. I felt that a test-drive was essential to make sure the instructions were in clear, everyday English and that the steps between "insert the disc" and "begin playing" were at a minimum. I was very pleased with the ease of use, number and variety of games, and the entertainment value of the animated "skits" and other extras.

I've always enjoyed the challenge of solitaire and this version makes the game very enjoyable as well. The rules are easy to understand, which helps you learn many new types of solitaire and the animated ants, who pop up when you least expect them, are entertaining and seem to take some of the tension out of the game. The game-builder feature lets you change the lay-out of any given game and even the rules, if you want. If you enjoy solitaire and silly "ant"ics, you should get this one.
