Jan Johnson is the author of twenty books and more than a thousand magazine articles and Bible studies. Also a speaker, teacher and spiritual director, she lives with her husband in Simi Valley, California. She holds a D. Min. in Ignatian spirituality and spiritual direction and writes primarily about spiritual formation and social justice topics.

More Like a Bible Study Guide,

I was expecting this to be a book on silence and solitude but it is more like a bible study guide. I think that might actually be better because it references scripture to support its text. I haven't completed the whole book but so far I enjoy how the book makes me reflect and relate my behavior to the scriptures in the bible.
