If you like the sound of the surf, this will give you a full hour of it.

Half of it is the "heavy surf." It indeed is heavy surf, best played at low volume, otherwise it could be overpowering.

The second half is my favorite -- I can just imagine the hidden cove, listening to this. Gentle waves flowing, seagulls (some near, some distant) calling their familiar call. You can almost smell the salt air and feel the summer sun on your face. Nice.

I am amazed at the beauty and power of this. This

is the most wonderful capture of the natural honest

sound of the ocean that I

long for daily.

I have two other purchased cd's of ocean sounds,

one of which is very good and which I have in my cd

player in the kitchen and which is almost always on.

However, this one now, (Thank you Amazon!!!) is

so far above the one I have had in quality and

supreme beauty of the sound with no negatives at

all!
I am listening to

this right now on my computer with the volume

turned way, way up, and the sound of the waves

and the power of the sea just washes over me and

is turning all of my pain into joy. It is exactly like it

sounds when I am lucky enough to be there at the

ocean...awesome and wonderful.

I knew it would be great, after listening to the

sample but not how it would stay perfect for the

duration.
If there is a way to thank the man who

recorded this I would like to do so. It is astounding to me

that he and this faithful recording

are not well known.

Ahh, surely

there are more like minded, like-souled individuals

such as myself who have been longing for the

sound and the mesmerizing solace of the sea, when

one is unable to go there, that it will assuage one's

griefs and allow one to rediscover a portion of

oneself that has been lost.

It helps us find ourselves again.

It is simply quite, quite wonderful.
