I have used Solo Almond Paste many times in the past. We move frequently, sometimes living in large cities, sometimes small towns. I can usually find it on the shelf in large cities. However, this Christmastime, we find ourselves in a small town and I could not find the almond paste anywhere. I was grateful to find it on Amazon...and at a very good price. I have paid nearly twice the price from some specialty stores in the past. My one complaint about the cans of paste I ordered: the contents were a little dry. There are no dates on the cans, so the product may not have been as fresh as others I've purchased in the past. However, my cakes still came out perfectly, so the dryness did not affect the final product. I will definitely look to Amazon again for the almond paste. Great value!

I had a hard time finding this particular paste in stores -- it worked much better in the recipe I had than the tube stuff. It's expensive to get it online, but it's worth it -- I'm about to order more.

This is a dependably good produce and Amazon's four-pack price is great! The grocery stores in my area sell individual cans at almost $7 each.

This product is good but pricey. My wife can't bake, however, without it, so I had to find a deal for her. I found this on Amazon. When you buy four and have to pay shipping, you aren't really ahead. But when you buy 8 and pay no shipping, then you have a true deal. So I would recommend 8 or more.

My husband and I like to make Amaretti cookies to take when we're invited to Christmas holiday parties. We have tried several brands. This is by far the best.

I've used this almond paste for years, but the shops don't carry it any more. It's pretty expensive, but if you need it you need it!!!

I found a recipe for almond paste cookies that I tried and my family really liked them. Buying Almond paste from the grocery store was expensive, so I looked on line and found the Solo brand on Amazon. I bought them and as soon as the 4 pack arrived I made another batch of cookies. My family liked them even better than the ones I made earlier and it wasn't as expensive. I then made Almond muffins, which turned out great. Good product, very good price.
