Stu Weaver --- Even Better Live,
By Bill Newett (St Augustine, Fla) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Solo (Audio CD)
I have lived in St Augustine for 10 years + and have spent many hours enjoying the good music that abounds here. Unfortunately, I just recently became a fan of Stu.The first night I heard him I said to myself "I want this man's album". And I bought it on the spot. It has become background music on my computer and is played often. Best of all however, is that I can hear him in person most weeks at the Mill Top in downtown St Augustine. As much as I enjoy the albumn, I enjoy the live entertainment even more. He's a great talent....entertainer and song writer. If you are in St Augustine for vacation don't miss him.

Can't wait for the next cd,
By Cheryl Schlegel (Jacksonville, Fl USA) - See all my reviews

I have not stopped listening to this cd since I bought it. The only thing better is hearing him live. Pass It Around and Carolina Wandering are especially good. This is what music was meant to be, we need more music like this. Keep up the great work!

Amazing CD,

I saw Stu perform live in '94 or '95 and instantly fell in love with his music. I got Solo shortly after that, and still listen to it religiously, 6 years later. If you like Indigo Girls, James Taylor, Michael Penn, Tracy Chapman, etc, you need to get this album. His music feels personal and heart-felt, and every song makes me think. I'm from NC, so I especially enjoy Carolina Wanderin', which is a really fun song. I highly recommend this album.

Pure Emotion,
By Monica Schlegel (Maryland) - See all my reviews

I was introduced to Stu Weaver's cd by a co-worker at the college where I am working. She is Stu's sister. In any event, I simply loved what I heard. What touched me was the artistic poetry put into music. It's nice for a change to hear honest emotion in music. A true artist. And good for you, Stu, that you follow your dreams. There's someone over here who's very proud of you. :-) I recommend this cd to anyone who enjoys contemporary folk. Keep up the good work, Stu.

My wife and I saw Stu live in St. Augustine in 93. It made our whole 8th anniversary come to life. Ten years later we went to St. Augustine and found his name in the Milltop .Unfortunately he wasn't playing but would give anything to here his music . Thus we shall buy his cd. Stu is the greatest we have ever listened to and I hope we get to see him live again soon.Ben and Rena
