Book Description

July 2003
Ralph Ellis has discovered indisputable links and comparisons between the Egyptian and Judaic royal lines, that demonstrate that King David and King Solomon were actually pharaohs of Egypt. This is why there is no evidence for these monarchs in the archaeology of modern Israel; for the evidence, including the tombs, sarcophagi and death-masks of these famous monarchs, are actually located in the north eastern Nile Delta. The Queen of Sheba was also related to this royal line and, as befitting the great 'Queen of the South', her sarcophagus was discovered at Deir el Bahri in Luxor. The book also shows the location of King Solomon's Mines and the true historical identity of Hiram Abif, the hero of the Masonic 3rd degree.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

The claims in this books are controversial and far-reaching, sufficiently so that many readers may be tempted to dismiss them out of hand. However, the book is very well researched and documented, and considering the dramatic claims that are being made, it is very surprising to see such a wealth of information that supports this hypothesis. Indeed, the history of the United Monarchy makes a great deal more sense under this new Egyptian interpretation than it ever did under the classical biblical explanation.

More About the Author

Ralph Ellis has been researching biblical and Egyptian history for more than 30 years. Being independent from theological and educational establishments allows Ralph to tread where others do not dare, and it is through this independence that Ralph has discovered so many new biblical and historical truths.

Perhaps one of the biggest 'cover-ups' is the fact that the Israelites were originally Egyptians, the Hyksos Shepherd pharaohs who were ejected from Egypt in the 17th century BC. But this simple correlation colours the rest of biblical history, for it means that both King Solomon and King Jesus were also of Egyptian heritage.

4.0 out of 5 stars love it, April 28, 2006

This review is from: Solomon: Falcon of Sheba: The Tomb and Image of the Queen of Sheba Discovered (Paperback)
This is a third book of the sequel "Jesus", "Tempest" and "Solomon" by Ralph Ellis. And even though it's not necessary to read the previous books to get the author's point, it's a good idea to get them as well.
The author's theory, equating Hyksos to Israelities, finds more evidence when he comapres Historical figures of Pharoahs of 21st Dynasty to their biblical couterparts.
What I like the most about the book is that not only it describes interesting alternative history theory, but that author seems to be able to substantiate his theory with the evidence taken from historical accounts, from Bible, Koran and other scriptures.
You should read this book with open mind, knowing that it is a radical alternative history book, as Ralph appropriately warns in each of his book.

I applaud the efforts of Ralph Ellis. However, more details and more specifics are needed to draw accurate conclusions. The author has correctly noted that there is the obvious connection between the Hebrews and the Egyptions, but the specifics and accurate identifications are somewhat off-base. Interested readers should invest in the books " Moses and Akhenaten" and "The Hebrew Pharoahs of Egypt" both written by Ahmed Osman.

1.0 out of 5 stars Historical Propaganda, September 16, 2009
By
This review is from: Solomon: Falcon of Sheba: The Tomb and Image of the Queen of Sheba Discovered (Paperback)
So let me get this straight. A few hundred years after the Jews freed themselves from Egyptian slavery, Solomon (the son of King David, who was a Jew from Israel) was Egyptian? This is what I call `historical propaganda'. Just because there are photos of an unspecified Egyptian-looking relic - has nothing to do with the Solomon connection. How do people get away with A) choosing a propaganda hypothesis, B) gathering proof to suite their needs & C) making people believe with words & pictures.
Am not entertained. Solomon was indeed The King of Israel and was not Egyptian, sorry.
