Phil Thornton's last CD (Immortal Egypt with Hossam Ramzy) won recognition as the best contempory world album of last year. This CD is EVEN BETTER!! The music sounds like the Oregon Country Fair, but with some electronic layering and textures. Every cut is a winner. I have played at least a cut a week on our KUAC's Nightlight Program, and it always gets excellent reviews and responses from the listeners.
