As a relative newcomer to Shai Linne's music, I ended up getting this album fourth, after already owning his other three major releases. It's clear that this album is not as polished as his more recent work, which, I suppose, is to be expected. Nor does this album follow a consistent theme like "Atonement" or "The Attributes of God."
Nevertheless, this is still a really good album, and the more I listen to it, the more it keeps growing on me. The rhymes and rhythms are catchy, and there are several songs that are quite moving, and have the hard hitting theology that I've come to expect from Linne. There are several tracks that feature other artists performing alongside Linne, which are pretty good, but always remind me that Linne is far superior in content, style, clarity, and, well, I just like his voice better.
If you've just recently discovered Shai Linne, you might be interested in this album. It's not as fully developed as his later work, but it is still enjoyable. I find myself going to this album more than the later release "Storiez."
