the 2005 release of NorTheR's Solution 7 Ep is a brilliant one...while only a total number of five tracks and one being a remix...norther show their versatillity with leads guitarist Kristian Ranta a.k.a Kride's clean vocals and showing a preview of their 2006 album Till Death Unites Us...this Ep is a great pick up for any NORTHER fan...finnish melodeath metal fan or just any metal fan....of course thats why i chose to buy it..

Not bad, but not up to the quality of their full length albums. Get those instead, starting with Mirror of Madness, which is exceptionally good.

While I was certainly disappointed with "Till Death Unites Us", I found myself pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across this EP. Norther are really on top of their melodeath game with this one, especially with the track "Day Zero". The ideas are fresh, yet still have the feel of the last few albums. Ranta and Lindroos display plenty of virtuosity on this disc, which shows just how much they've evolved as guitarists from the beginning. Definately worth the money.
