A GOOD EXAMPLE,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Solution (Animorphs) (Library Binding)
Sadly I read this book before the other two books of the trilogy, and I have to say it wasn't to bad,you wonder what the solution to the problem is(I don't want to mention the problem;it'll ruin the book.) The end was very satisfying, and its a new type of problem. The animorphs wrap themselves up in. It's different,in a good way,but it would be better if you read the books 20,and 21 first,so nothing will get ruined.

The Best of The Best,
By A Customer
This review is from: Solution (Animorphs #22) (Paperback)
The animorphs wouldn't be the animorphs without the blue box, and after so many battles, so many close calls, they decide it's time to expand. So they turn David into an animorph. At first things are ok. But David starts acting weird, almost giving away the animorphs secret (that there really human). Then, instead of following Jakes orders, he does what he pleases. And then, he totally turns against the animorphs, and decides to make his own gang. To do that, he has to get the blue box. He tries to murder the animorphs, one by one. And the Animorphs know, there plan has gone totally wrong. How they stop him, what solution do they come up with -spoilers- sorry, that's for me to know and you to find out (so get the book). And trust me, you won't be disapointed. Animorph fans, this is a huge MUST!!!

Best of a trilogy, one of the best of 25!,

Great book! Very frightening. Ties up the loose ends of David, the "new animorph," the terribly gory, and very scary and sad truth about Saddler, the cousin of Jake and Rachel, and finds a semi-soution to the problem of the leaders of the free world being infested. Wonderful book. Edge of your seat, suspenseful, very scary. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful character growth,

The whole series has been great, but this book shows Rachel's character so well. A 15 yr old I know couldn't believe that such heavy ideas were in what is considered "young adult" fiction. The solution to the problem of David was excellent...they didn't wimp out.

Animorphs #22 The Solution,
By A Customer
This review is from: Solution (Animorphs #22) (Paperback)
I thought the book was ok. Just ok. #21 was far better. It is sort of stupid how K.A. speeds the book up(about the "dead" animorphs). It would have been a lot better if she didn't sum it up so fast. I mean she explained everything on half a page. I'm glad K.A. didn't use some corny thing to make the Animorphs "alive" again. I'm getting sick of the Ellimist(he can't interfear anyway). Sario Rip would be dumb and the Chee don't have healing powers. I just wished she explained how the Animorphs became "alive" better. The upcoming books also look good.#23-The Pretendor #24-The Suspicion #25-The Extreme #26-The Attack #27-The Exposed #28-The Experiment -Hork-Bajir Chronicals -Visser Chronicals -Taxxon Chronicals -Ellimist Chronicals(maybe) For info on any of these books e-mail me at BAF116@aol.com.

One of the best,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Solution (Animorphs #22) (Paperback)
After having a bizarre dream, Rachel is woken by Ax. He explains Jake's immediate orders to summon Rachel. That decision bothers her, but her qualms are silenced when Ax breaks her the news of Tobias's probable death. Rachel is willing to do what Jake expected her to do. They fly to Marco's house. Ax tries to fly through his window, but is promptly knocked out by Marco. Or rather, David in Marco's morph. Rachel allows David to morph to golden eagle, and leads him on a chase through town. Rachel plans to lure him into the power lines, electrocuting him. But David outmaneuvers her, and almost kills her. Fortunately, David is attacked by a hawk, which turns out to be Tobias.
Relieved that Tobias is alive, the Animorphs plan how to trap the traitor. At school, they're surprised, though, when David, in Marco's body, demands the Blue Box, threatening to betray their identities to the Yeerks. Cassie tries to reason with him, but to no avail. Making no progress, David leaves, with Rachel in pursuit. In a secluded spot on the school grounds, Rachel tells him that even if David betrays them, she'd still have time to make short work of him and his parents before she would be silenced by the Yeerks. David tries to attack her, but she pins him down. Having made her threat, she releases him. And Rachel becomes enraged with the way Jake is manipulating her violent tendencies. The Animorphs formulate one final attempt to doom the Yeerk's plan to make controllers of some of the World leaders including, France, Japan, Russia, and the United States. They morph dolphins and travel to the shore of the Marriott resort. Then they morph elephants and rhinoceroses, and ravage the resort huts the heads of state reside in. They leave a screaming Visser Three in 'Tony's' morph, and retreat into the ocean. The plan is a success, but they encounter David, in orca morph. Here David accuses Rachel of threatening to kill his family, and Rachel is hurt by her teammates' silence. After an exhausting battle, Cassie morphs into a Humpback whale and drives David away. Rachel collapses in her bed, but is almost immediately pestered by her sister, wanting some comfort regarding Saddler's grave condition. Rachel walks into the bathroom, and is confronted by an invisible David. He challenges her to a personal war, which she accepts. Rachel then accuses Jake of not standing with her against David, and that Jake thinks she is a sociopath. At the hospital, the family visits their dying child. It becomes apparent that he is far from dying; he'd somehow miraculously made a full recovery. Jake immediately suspects David. He mocks Rachel and Jake, demanding the Blue Box. Rachel and Jake reconcile, and then begin concocting a scheme to beat David at his own game. The Animorphs have a mock discussion about a Blue Box that breaks into smaller pieces, and Rachel pretends to have been morally defeated by David, being mocked by Marco the whole time. They meet David at a Taco Bell, and agree to lead him to the Blue Box, allowing him to abuse Rachel some more. Rachel and David fly to the abandoned construction site, with the other Animorphs following close behind. David traps the Animorphs as cockroaches in a Pepsi bottle, and he and Rachel morph rats. They venture into the pipes to retrieve each 'piece'. David soon figures out the Animorph's elaborate trap, and tries to escape. He is stopped by Rachel. The gate closes on the fake piping the Animorphs had designed, and David is doomed. Rachel and the others decide to let David be trapped forever as a rat. Cassie had plotted out all of David's emotions, gauged his inflating ego, and knew the sociopath would select Rachel as his victim. Rachel and Ax carry David out to a desolate rocky outcrop a mile offshore, and leave him, his pleading and cursing trailing behind them.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Solution (Animorphs #22) (Paperback)
In this book David starts messing up the Animorphs and Ax. He knocks out Ax in harrier morph, ties Marco up in his closet, and the Animorphs and Ax think he killed Tobias. Rachael and Jakes cousin gets in an accident and David morphs there cousin and then kills him. David plans to mess up the Animorphs and to take the place of Jake and Rachael's cousin. Read the book to find out what happens next!
