Nothing new here that you can't find by doing your homework.Basically, avoid simple sugars, watch portions, exercise. Use Omega-3 fatty acids, use spices. The Metabolic Typing Test reveals that most people eat too many simple sugars--this is not news. In this book's plan, each person has a zone where they feel balanced regarding carbs/proteins/fats. Most people have ratios from 80/10/10 (The 80/10/10 Diet), to 40/30/30 (The Zone Diet), to 50/20/30 to 65/15/20 or whatever. Any person can discover his/her own zone by using a free calorie/protein/fat/carb tracking program found online, you don't need this book. Foods that Burn Fat can be found anywhere on the internet: green tea, broccoli, oats, high protein & low-fat foods, etc. More hype is a 14 days to a sexy body that includes periodic fasting, so there is hype, no doubt.
