SweSwirl says:
A few things that will solve the problem of IR interference. A lot of TV's will emit IR light through a few of the features that come built-in with the TV.

1. Try turning off power-saving features on the TV.
2. Try turning off the contrast/brightness auto-adjusting features on the TV.
3. Low-tech solution: cover the receiver with a piece of cloth.

Hope this helps some of you guys and save you some trouble/money :)
