The solution manual is fine - not inherently valuable but nonetheless required for my course. However, be wary that the edition you get may be an 'e-book'. The seller will mention the item's condition (soft cover, hard cover, or e-book) in their transaction notes before you purchase, however just be sure you read that so you aren't surprised with something you are not expecting. This is not saying that every seller on this page is offering an e-book, simply that some are, so know which you are buying.

I would absolutly recommend this product to anyone who bought the hardcover edition. All the answers come with explanations which make it easy to understand and learn organic chemistry.

This solutions manual doesn't help the student too much, in too many cases it only gives the answer to complicated questions without an explanation. When you are a collage student and you buy this you expect a little bit more help from it. Is like a solutions a appendix for the book, but certainly not a solutions manual. On the other hand I must say that the McMurry Organic book is outstanding, is very sad that the solutions manual is not at the same level.

Very useful in helping with the problems in the textbook. I am so glad that I purchased this despite the bad reviews I had seen about it. Of course, you must have some knowledge about organic chemistry in order for this book to be helpful, but even with the most mediocre idea of what to do, this book will help trememdously.

Helpful answers to every question in the book. If anyone says that is isn't well laid out or gives the mechanisms/answers along with how they got the answers they are a lazy ass period.

Look, this book gets the job done. Its dry and to the point. It serves its purpose, and explains how to get the answers. For someone like me, who needs to practice organic chemsitry to UNDERSTAND it, how else will I know if I got the answers from the book right? I got the book used for over $100 less than at my university bookstore. No need to get a new one, in my opinion. Also, my seller was fast and I got my book right away.

I was surprised to receive a different book cover. I'm not sure if they are same content though. Nevertheless, hoping the book I received would help me pass my course as I expected the book I ordered with the cover listed up here.

Book was received on time and in better condition than expected. Willing to do business with them again in the future.

No one should look before they leap, but knowing that you have a guide surely does make the leap a whole lot easier.

Although the description says twice that it's a paperback, watch out!!! In a different view of this product (options for the actual book), it says "electronic copy." That's where they get you. The seller issued me a refund, assured me that this CD copy isn't illegal (ha) and even provided me with the cost of shipping.

Product was bad, but the seller was pretty good about it.
