I purchased a used copy for $14 and I am glad I didn't pay more. The solutions manual really offers very little that isn't in the back of the sixth edition of the book. The only possible advantage is that you don't have to flip back and forth while working on some of the problems since you can use the manual, but even that is limited by failure to include learning check solutions. I thought it would have careful, step by step explanations and illustrations of all the problems. It does offer some additional exercises and study tips and perhaps I will find it more useful in the latter part of the GOB (General, Organic & Biochemistry) course.
