If you have troubles in this class or just a "not so great" instructor this is what you need. Great resource with great solutions and explanations. Not all of them are exactly step by step processes but it has been my crutch through this tough course.

This book is excellent. It gives step by step details as of to how the answers were achieved. Also, after each chapter there is a self test that you can take to boost your Organic Chem. IQ. I recommend this book to anyone who is serious about learning Organic Chemistry.

This book is absolutely indispensable for your study of Organic Chemistry. I am a student of Dr. Atkins and am glad other people can learn from him through this manual. Not only does each answer have a detailed explaination of the answer, but also each chapter has a self-test of about 30 questions (answers in the back). Note that the text by Carey has the answers to the questions in each chapter (about 1/3 of the total questions in the book), but he does not include end-of-chapter questions' answers or anything but just the answer (as opposed to Atkin's details).
