My older dog has terrible allergies and scratches, chews and licks constantly. After just 1 1/2 weeks of using Aller G-3, his coat was thick, glossy and the itching subsided considerably - our Vet even noticed a difference. Highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my 12 year old chocolate lab. She is in pretty good shape, but had been exhibiting clear signs of age in her hips - stiff and slow to get up after taking a nap. She could no longer jump up on our rather high bed, nor jump down easily. The improvement was subtle, but definite. Within about three weeks we saw definite signs of improvement, and after several months of adding this to her breakfast, the improvement is remarkable. She's still 12 years old, but she is much less stiff, and she has actually jumped up on the bed unassisted a few times as the weather gets cooler (she likes to sleep on the bed when it's cool). Great stuff, highly recommended.

Arrived quickly. Was a different brand: "Derma 3 Liquid" by Vitality Systems instead of "AllerG-3" by Vet Solution. But it is still an omega-3 fatty acid supplement for dogs and that is what I wanted.

After arriving at my wits end and searching for some answers in order to help my Chihuahua/Papillon mix, I came upon this product. "Lucky" had been suffering from what had been diagnosed as unknown skin allergies for years. I recently ran a course of Prednisone to help relieve some of his distress from itching. Lucky had already scratched one cornea and now has limited or no sight from that eye and damaged the other. I had a cone on him, ran through the course of Prednisone and just thought I would have to keep him on Claritin or Benedryl. When I read prior reviews on this product, I purchased it for two reasons: 1. The price was right, 2. I was desperate to find something to relieve and cure my dog's intense itching. It arrived very quickly and I have followed the directions to a 'T'. Needless to say, within a two weeks, Lucky's hair has grown back in the spots where it had been scratched off, he no longer bites at his inner hind legs to itch and he is a MUCH happier little guy. This stuff works!

I recently adopted a Basenji/American Staffordshire mix who scratched a lot all over, particularly her ears, and had a lot of redness in her ears and face. I have been putting the Aller G3, recommended by my vet, on all my dogs' food since about March and her redness and itching is all but gone. I do also give them a fish oil pill, like you get at walmart, once a day. The bottle is a little expensive I think, but I checked around and Amazon has the lowest price I could find. I know the dogs absolutely love it on their food and my Basenji boy who has always had flaky skin no longer does so I would definitely recommend this product.Vet Solutions Aller G-3 Omega-3 Fatty Acid Liquid (8 oz)

I have been giving my dog fish oil for years. My vet recommended fish oil to help control seasonal allergies. I still use the fish oil in the "off season" as it is also very good for their digestivc systems and coat. I used to use the egg shaped pills, but they are of varying sizes and amounts and this squirty bottle is easier to use. Sometimes my dog would take the pills out of her bowl and I would find them hidden away for later....

The bottles are more cost effective than using the pills.

My dog loves the taste of this stuff. I dont really care for its smell, but when I put food in my dogs bowl, she automatically sits. When I squirt on this oil, she starts to drool. So I guess I could say she gives it a good review also :)

Aller G-3 is a fantastic product. I started using it at my vet's recommendation to help with my little Bichon's allergies. Since starting Aller G-3, she has been scratching less, not biting her legs as much, and she seems happier. The pump is great since it's easier and more economical than the pills (I had to break them open to sprinkle the oil on her food).

This product is wonderful for coat management--for softening, for replacing hair lost due to allergy and other issues, and just general health and well-being. Research shows that Omega-3 FA can help joint health when used with glucosamine, and works better than just one or the other alone. This product is economical and very effective. I highly recommend its use!

So I followed his suggestion and got this for my dogs. It is much easier to use the pump than give them the capsules. They seem to love it, their coats are gorgeous they sparkle in the sunlight. My Sheltie doesn't matt up any more, nor my Golden so it's a winner in our book

The omega 3 fatty acid food additive keeps our silver lab's coat healthy and shiny. A bit expensive, but so is our dog!
