This is an excellent textbook for a two semester course in General, Organic, and Biological Chemistry for Health Professions. It does a very good job of explaining the concepts of General, Organic, and Biological Chemistry. It also has excellent applications on disease processes and pathophysiology. The organization of each chapter is a plus. I highly recommend this textbook. It is number one!

This book is exactly as described by the publisher. A very readable overview of general and organic chemistry. A comprehensive study of the organic molecules and chemical processes specific to the human body.

I liked this book so much that I'm ordering a hardcover copy to replace my original paperback edition.

The book was used for 90% of my class. It well written for the student with little exposure to chemistry. The pictures and diagrams could have better depicted the subject matter. The price was $40 less than what my college bookstore charges. Great value.

This is actually an interesting and informative read for chemistry. The authors do a great job of explaining plus many worked examples throughout the book. I would also recommend the study guide/solutions manual to get all of the end of chapter questions answered.

I bought this book from a classmate but thoroughly enjoyed it. It is pretty easy to understand although chemistry takes of studying. It covered 2 semesters. general and organic chemistry.

I specifically bought this book NEW from Amazon because it said it is "now available with MasteringChemistry access". Well, it is NOT included. Which means I have to purchase the access code separately, to the tune of $45. Load of Crap.

Excellent chemistry book for the college Intro. Chem. student. Well written and understandable with excellent examples. HIghly recommended.

This is a great book. I am using it to review for the DAT. It is very helpful and worth the money. The book is easy to read and has great questions after every chapter.

This book is a very good and comprehensive view of the basics in general, organic, and biological Chemistry. I also like the fact that the book gives many examples and problems to work with. I recommend the study guide which can be purchased separately to go along with this book as it has been a very useful tool for me in my effort to complete this course.

Was shipped and arrived very quickly. Inside packaging was a little light and may have indented the top edge of cover and back.
