Within our society, our community, our families and most commonly within ourselves, we have a growing health crisis brewing, perpetuated by our daily habits and cultural norms, yet simply not confronted. We are suffering and dying of chronic conditions and diseases at an unprecedented rate, in spite of spending more on heath care than ever before. Our established way of life is killing us, yet we are not addressing the underlying problem. It's just so large, invasive and complex that we can't seem to take hold and attack it with any meaningful success.
Yet this health crisis does not have to be. We understand enough about human health, what disrupts it, and how to regain it, to fix this monumental problem, but the knowledge is not trickling down. Most Americans are clueless to the far-reaching effects of their dietary patterns and healthcare decisions, and therefore continue on the same downward path towards suffering, disease and dependency on treatments and drugs addressing symptoms of diseases, not underlying causes.
We need a new approach to health care. We need a visionary - someone to articulate and set forth a clear path to solve our healthcare crisis in this country, and this is just what Dr. Pamela Popper is, and attempts, her book, SOLVING AMERICA'S HEALTHCARE CRISIS. It offers us nothing less than a comprehensive war plan that lays out what we must do to make significant changes to reverse the financial and health effects of our current practices. Dr. Popper clearly explains the problem, issue by issue, and offers us an achievable solution to follow. The problem, she explains, is the result of our poor diet and lifestyle habits.Read more ›
