1.0 out of 5 stars Great follow up edition
9 out of 10 stars on this one. Although I am not a fan of his writing style, did gain some insight from this book. As a owner of the original version I was glad to see that this oone held together after the first chapter. I only have pieces of the 1st edition. Common sense approach to evaluating dogs and a useful test....

I think this book is one of the best that I own (and I own many)! This book does a great job explainig the unexplainable and all that in a very easy to read captivating manner, picked with fun illustrative stories. Full of color pictures of great dogs of a variety of breeds, it is pleasing the eye while training it. You will have to do your own work to make the most of it but the authors great experience, knowledge and writing ability does a great job in underlining the important and pointing you in the right direction to recognizing breed type. A must-read to anyone interested in showing, breeding and judging purebred dogs!
