I have two mastiff mixes and a brand new car. This seat cover works. It's got several nifty little features that make it great. It's got adjustable hardware straps with durable metal connectors to fit around whatever size head rests your seat may have. It's got these great little plastic gizmos that fit into the seat crack to anchor the thing so it doesn't gather up and lays flat. It's got some elastic straps that fit around the bottom of the seat on each side to further stabilize it so the dogs don't dismantle it. And more I'm not mentioning. Just all in all a high-quality product. Now if I could only find something to keep the slobber off the windows...

I bought this to replace a 'pet robe' cover that was worn out. It is a very well made cover and fits well on the seat. The problem is that it doesn't have any rubber backing and therefore, it slides all over leather seats. No matter how secure I thought it was, as soon as my dog walked on it, it slipped and exposed the leather seats. I gave it to my sister who has cloth seats and it works great in her car.

After throwing away several over-priced, useless seat covers, I found this one from Solvit. Fantastic! It really stays put when a large dog jumps in and out. It's easy to install and clean. I like the neutral color, too. Don't consider any other brand -- we have them in all our cars, and recommend to all our dog-owner friends.

Wow. This is everything I have been looking for. Well designed, great construction. I spent lots of time looking at other models, both online and in stores. Nothing gave me what I wanted until I found this. I have a GMC Yukon and this fits perfectly. Still it would probably fit my wife's car with the adjustable straps. It is water resistant, which is all I need. The water proof models have slick tops and dogs slide all over. This model has great quilted twill which my 2 Australian sheperds handle just fine. Much better than the leather seats which I was having to clean on a monthly basis. A great product at a fair price.

This is a geat product, I bought it a while ago and have had it in the back of my 4-door sedan ever since. It is really good quality and have no problems with it ripping, tearing, or coming apart in any way. I love the "anchors" that they have for the crease of the seat (where your seatbelt buckles are located) to keep it from sliding- they really do help. However, let me warn you that if you have a bench seat that is recessed into your floor (like me) and not off the floor (like an SUV) then the straps that are supposed to go under the seat are almost pointless. Since the straps are not able to be be pulled tight around the edge of your seat, when your dog jumps on it the straps will slide off. This is my only pet-peave about this product. Other than that, it is a really good product-great for people like me that do not want dog hair/scratches all over their leather. Now they need to come up with something to protect your windows and windowsills from slober :) Hope this review is helpful!

I bought this for my Hyaundai Sante Fe and it fits/works perfectly! Not only am I lucky that the color was a perfect match to my leather seats, but all the straps and hooks are in the right places too. Contrary to what another review said about it not working well on leather seats, it works perfectly fine in my vehicle and actually stays put very nicely. I've already washed it 3 times in 3 months and it holds up great every time. This is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time and I'm so pleased with it. What a great product to protect your seats for a great price!

Why oh why didn't I turn in the old comforter and fitted sheet earlier ? ! This cover is amazing ! It's easy to vac the pet hair off, and is a perfect fit for my Honda CRV. It even hangs over just enough to protect the sides of the seat when my lab mix jumps in and out of the car. I have fabric seats, so the cover stays put and doesn't shift around at all. It's also flexible enough for when I need to collapse the seats. I am one happy camper.

First off, I want to tell you that I have owned this seat cover for 3 years, so I know all that's good and bad about it. First of all I will start with all of the pros. This is a very high quality seat protector! It fit in both my Honda Civic Coupe and now it fits great in my Rav4. It keeps stains and dog hair off of my seats wonderfully. I have a Dalmatian and she sheds like CRAZY, but this cover keeps my seats nice and clean. This cover is super easy to install: it has really nice adjustable straps at the top to go over the headrests, it has these awesome plastic round things that you stick between the seat cushion on the back to keep it anchored (they work great!), and it has nice strong elastic attached at the corners to fit over the edges of the seat for extra anchoring. The fabric is very high quality and comfortable for the dog to lay on. Now, here are the cons: As many people stated before my review, the grommets tend to come lose/fall off (especially after washing it) HOWEVER, if you keep the grommets that fell off and just simply put them back on, it's no big deal! Just make sure when you wash the cover that the headrest clips are hooked onto the grommets and you wont lose them. That's what I've been doing for the past 3 years and this cover is still working like a charm. That is seriously the only complaint I have about it, but like I said it's easily fixable and not that big of a deal. Hope this review helped!

I have to agree w/ the other review that this is NOT the cover for leather seats. I believe that when placed on cloth seats, the two top straps w/ ring clips (which fit around the headrests) and the the two "StaPut" seat anchors (which fit into crack of the seat) would be sufficient to hold the cover in place.

However, on lether seats, the cover slips all over and exposes the car seat. Despite this, I used the cover for almost a year (as other covers I have used were worse). I finally had to discard it when the rings for the top clip attachments ripped away from the material. I believe this occured because the cover always slipped off the seat and caused too much tension on the top clips.

If I had a car w/ cloth seats, I'm guessing I would have given this product a 5-star rating. And although this cover has problems for leather seats, I intend to buy another as this is the best cover out there for the money.

The quality of this product is very high, I like that it is one piece, I purchased a similar product for girlfriends car at petsmart, it is two pieces making it hard to be taken in and out, it was also more expensive and poorer quality, I also like that it is machine washable.
